Helping the disabled to regain independence!
Richard helped us with plans for a 2nd storey extension for an accessible bedroom with a wet room as an en-suite. Also a reworking of our current utility room to include wheelchair access for the garage, utility room and an accessible WC.
Richard came up with some great ideas and the plans were passed first time, despite us needing to build out to the party wall. He is a very helpful guy and helped to guide us along the way as we had many questions. He put us in touch with some builders which was very helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody. Thank you Richard!

Great service
Richard was great from start to finish and guided us through the whole process. With his experience he was able negotiate any problems with planning permission. He was also able to provide us with a list of reputable builders to take on our work. Would recommend Richard to anyone looking for an architect.

Great experience
Richard helped us to design a garage conversion and kitchen extension. He guided us through a process we were completely unfamiliar with and initially daunted by. Richard is a reliable architect whose expertise was very reassuring and communication was always excellent. Great Architecture
Richard supported us with a double storey and wrap around extension. His experience, knowledge and expertise informed us of all the ideas we had the possibility of executing. Being complete novices, we had lots of inquiries around the build, and Richard was able to answer them with complete transparency. Great Experience with this architect
Richard helped us with our two storey rear extension, after being recommended to us. He was very knowledgeable about planning and the process we needed to go through and thoroughly explained each aspect for us newbies to this.
He helped us to plan for what we wanted but within the planning restrictions which were slightly tricky in some areas.
He helped us through and advised us when planning permission came back and with the building regulations.
Communication was good throughout and fees were all set out very clearly in advance. I would highly recommend.

Over an extensive development period Richard first presented three possible solutions to our brief. Following helpful discussion the final plans were drawn up and submitted for approval. The outcome was an innovative and clever approach to the particular problems we were dealing with and I can honestly say that we are delighted with the finished building.

We spoke to a number of local architects, but found that Richard was able to grasp what we were looking for almost immediately…..He was prompt in response, thorough in his work and most of all helpful throughout what was a completely new experience for us. The architectural design was completely sympathetic to the existing house, but also designed to ensure such that neighbours had minimal impact. Richard was willing to answer the questions that many would dance around, such as cost estimates for projects. He also worked very pragmatically, liaising with our builder (who he recommended) regularly, and importantly keep costs within our expectations.
